Cosmic is a 100% vegan cafe providing some genuine meat-free delicacies. It’s a hidden spot waiting to be discovered along the Poblacion pub crawl. From vegan sisig topped with vegan bagnet to their classic spinach lasagna, Cosmic promises an out-of-this-world dining experience.

Cosmic’s otherworldly flavors have reverberated beyond Poblacion’s borders, reaching the gastronomic havens of Kapitolyo and even the enchanting shores of Siargao, the expansion a proof of their fantastic offerings. 

Vegan Sisig with Bagnet, Vegan Spinach Lasagna, Miso-Mushroom Sinigang, Beanuguan (Vegan Dinuguan), and Vegan Bangus Relleno are all must-try dishes.

This quaint hole-in-the-wall street café in the heart of Poblacion is the best place to satiate your appetite for Thai street food. From Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, Crying Tiger Street Kitchen specializes in basic Asian street food and offers a comprehensive vegetarian and vegan menu. 

As for vegan or vegetarian options, some dishes that might suit your preference are:

  • Black Pepper Tofu Satay: grilled tofu with peanut sauce
  • Som Tam: Thai green papaya salad that is light, healthy, and refreshing. .
  • Vegetable Curry: mixed vegetables in coconut curry sauce

🌿 Corner Tree Cafe 

Corner Tree Cafe is a small vegetarian restaurant that serves modern vegan and gluten-free food from a variety of cuisines, as well as fine wines, craft brews, and house cocktails. They also feature a children’s menu and Sunday brunches! 

Their top recommended dishes are: 

  • Spinach & Mushroom Lasagna – another one of their bestsellers, which they’ve been serving since 2009
  • Buddha Bowl – tasty chickpeas, sweet potatoes, spinach, broccoli, grilled onion, sliced radish, topped with kimchi over red rice or quinoa, sprinkled with nori strips and toasted sesame seeds with a tahini sauce on the side. 
  • Vegan Veg Laksa – Their take on the staple Singaporean noodle in a tangy rich coconut soup (may be served with or without quail eggs)
  • Spinach Feta Croquettes topped with a mint yoghurt sauce

They also have desserts like Banofee Pie and Salted Caramel Chocolate Torte.

🥬 The Vegetarian Kitchen

The Vegetarian Kitchen is a must-visit for delicious vegetarian and vegan fare that will satisfy even the most ardent meat eater. Vegan variations of Filipino and Western cuisine are available at the restaurant. 

You may want to try their recently introduced Southern-style chicken nuggets and vegan korean bulgogi.

If you want their tried and tested dishes, then based on people’s reviews, their bestsellers are Spinach and Ricotta Dumplings with Tofu Mayo and Southern Fried Chik’n with Homestyle Fries and Gravy.

They also have a cookbook called The Vegetarian Kitchen: Essential Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone by Prue Leith and Peta Leith, which features 100 delicious and heartwarming vegetarian and vegan recipes.

They do not currently offer dine-in service. However, you can place an order and have it picked up or delivered. Because they offer food platters, their food is ideal for sudden cravings as well as special events.

🍕 PizzaExpress

Originally based in London, PizzaExpress specializes in homemade pizza as well as other specialties such as chicken wings, spaghetti, and other main dishes. 

They also have a vegan menu, which they call the Good Green Menu, featuring Beyond Meat. 

The Good Green menu has vegan-friendly dishes such:

  • Romana Pizza with Beyond Sausage Spinach 
  • Vegan Garlic and Mushroom pizza
  • OmniPork Spaghetti Bolognese
  • Vegan Spaghetti ai Funghi,
