Here are 3 great spots in Sorsogon that we think you shouldn’t skip when you visit:
Destination 1: Matnog
Matnog is a coastal municipality in the Philippines’ Bicol Region, located near the southernmost tip of Sorsogon province. It is well-known for its beautiful beaches, pristine waters, and diverse marine life. Matnog is also a popular starting point for visiting other Sorsogon tourist spots such as Donsol, Bulusan, and Irosin, and is home to the Matnog Ferry Port, which is the main gateway to Samar Island.

Kalyehon Cafe is a literal hidden gem in Cavite. Situated in Medicion, Imus, this quaint cafe doesn’t only carry good tasting coffee, but also ogle-worthy artworks from local artists.
The name Kalyehon is derived from the Spanish word “Callejon,” which is eskinita in Tagalog. The alley way going to the cafe itself exudes an artistic feel with graffiti on the wall. Then, when you reach the cafe, you’d fall in-love with the overall look and vintage feel of the place. One of the highlights of the place is the art fence that consists of about 115 sewing machines and parts, which took seven (7) years of collecting and assemblage.
