Apo Reef Natural Park is made up of three islands. The largest of the three islands is Apo Reef. Third, go for a swim at Talaga Point. Take a daring 20-foot leap from the cliff’s edge into the pure waters, and you’ll be transported to the lovely Natsu Lagoon. It’s an experience that will get your heart thumping and your spirit soaring.
Then, discover Hornos Point’s hidden treasures.The lovely Pebble Cave is a favorite of many as an exquisite setting for memorable prenuptial photos. You can also marvel at the Nagmandala Rock’s stairway-like structures, situated against a backdrop of beautiful seas that beseech you to take a dip.
Ready for the ring finger? The magical Naiklec Point is where it is. The charming Mawakis Cove can be found here, a picturesque sanctuary that is likely a favorite of many because it provides a delightful reprieve for a leisurely meal or a well-deserved snack.
After that brief respite, prepare for the ultimate adrenaline rush at Tinanlakan Lagoon, famous for its heart-stopping 40-foot cliff jump.
Then bask in the serenity of Longos Kawayan Point. Here you can also choose to pitch a tent at Aglaloma Beach.
And the best way to end this incredible tour is by gazing at the Latain Point Ophiolite rock formation and the fascinating Nagbintana Arch rock structure.
The Pawikan Conservation Center, located in Morong, Bataan, provides a safe haven for Philippine pawikan (sea turtles). If you don’t know, every year, the species faces a variety of threats, including egg collecting, poaching, illegal fishing, and death.
Knowing these dangers, the facility, which was founded in 1992 by a group of former poachers who became interested in conservation after learning the value of sea turtles, aims to protect and conserve sea turtles through research, teaching, and rehabilitation efforts.
The facility has a hatchery wherein collected sea turtle eggs go through incubation. When the hatchlings are born, they are returned to the water.
Aside from that, the institute also features a rehabilitation facility for damaged or sick sea turtles.
Another notable thing about this facility is their continuous pursuit to educate the general public about the importance of conservation efforts. The center offers educational opportunities for students and the general public where people can learn about sea turtles and why they need protection.
Apart from learning opportunities, they are also open to volunteers who want to advocate for the cause.
Needless to say, the Pawikan Conservation Center is a valuable resource for sea turtle conservation in the Philippines. The center serves as a role model for other conservation organizations, as it makes a real difference in the lives of these creatures.
If you’re planning to visit, it’s preferable to go from August to February, when the female turtles come to lay their eggs on the beach.
During the week-long Pawikan Festival in November, you may witness a rite in which turtle hatchlings are released back into the sea. Definitely an experience that’s one for the books!
Located in the town of Pilar, Bataan, Dunsulan Falls is a popular tourist destination, especially during the months of November to April, also known as the dry season.
With 15-foot-high falls and a deep pool at the bottom, enjoy this oasis with friends and family for a day of swimming and picnicking.
Situated at the foot of majestic Mount Samat, Dunsulan Falls serves as a delightful sequel to your adventure atop the summit.
To get there, you can take a tricycle from Pilar town proper. The falls are approximately ten kilometers from the town center. The path to the falls is narrow and twisty, so take your time.
The parking area is at the falls’ entrance, thus, you’ll have to walk a bit to get to the falls from there. But it sure is worth every step because when you arrive at the actual location, you will be welcomed by the sound of flowing water and the sight of a splendid waterfall.
Dunsulan Falls has an entrance fee of Php50.00 for adults and Php20.00 for children. If you wish to stay for a longer period of time, you can rent a cottage.
If you are looking for a refreshing and fun day trip, and a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, visiting Dunsulan Falls would be a great idea.

Popot and her husband, Bert, opened Popots Diner in 1995. The pair hoped to set up a restaurant that served atypical American comfort food. They started small, but their business swiftly expanded, and they now have two branches in Balanga.
Popots Diner’s menu includes all of your favorite American diner items, such as burgers, steaks, fries, milkshakes, and more. The burgers are cooked to perfection and crafted using fresh, never-frozen meat. The steaks are also top-notch and are grilled to your liking.
In addition to their classic American fare, the diner also offers a variety of Filipino dishes, like sinigang and adobo, among others.
